Who is Porter Consultancy

Alex Porter was previously a member of PwC (UK) where he was part of their Workday Implementation and Consultancy practice.

A Workday Architect and Consultant with Workday issued certifications in HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Scheduling & Labor Optimization, able to also work in Absence, Benefits, Core Compensation, and Security.

Alex has taken part in many end to end implementations, re-implementations and Phase X projects across a variety of industries, including but not limited to Financial Services, Health Care, Leisure Centres, Energy Suppliers and Construction companies.

This has covered project engagements with staff across EMEA countries (Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom) and India. 

These projects were as either a Data Lead, Functional Lead for one or more modules, or as the overall Workday Architect planning the build to fit the specified requirements

Alex is also an experienced Payroll Manager with a degree focused in Payroll Management from University of Worcester and CIPP, which he also then spent 6 years teaching and tutoring on behalf of CIPP.
